Without immediately enacting massive spending cuts, increasing the debt ceiling moves our government even closer to bankruptcy. Raising the debt ceiling is acceptable if, and only if, Congress first enacts serious spending cuts that exceed the size of any debt ceiling increase and significant reforms to the budget process. Ending Spending is committed to holding Members of Congress accountable for their excessive spending practices and exposing those in Congress who say one thing and do another.

This isn't even a democrat/republican issue. Its a common sense issue. If I ran a business in the red every year for decades are the banks gonna keep loaning me money? Of course not you fools! I`m tired of seeing OUR govt. Mortgage away our childrens futures and printing more worthless money! Its gonna have to be painful, meaningful cuts! You should all be ashamed of yourselves for the debt you keep dumping on us! I could go on all day. Time to take my bp meds and relax. STOP SPENDING WHAT WE DONT HAVE IDIOTS!

Save Medicare and Social Security. And protect the American people first, and stop giving our money to everyone else. Let the other countries fend for themselves. And also stop funding the U.N. and get out of there before Obama controls us like a Communist country. Don't this congress see what is happening before their very eyes. The president is destroying this country on his own, with the help of his administration. They all have an agenda that they are not showing to the American people. So he must be stopped from having the Executive Power to bypass congress. and get one of his Czars to tend to the business he wants. This is not Russia and the president should not have Czar's to do the things he can't get done in congress.

Younger generations will be left footing the bill for Obamacare, Cap & Trade, illegal immigration Dream Act (amnesty), and foreign aid to Egypt $2B, all borrowed from China. Despite his many lofty promises the President is a Liar and a fraud.
Why is it the American people are always being threatened with cuts on Social Security and Medicare, but yet the government has no problem sending are hard earned money off to other countries or spending our money foolishly. We work hard for our money and deserve to keep more of it. The American people are sick and tired of wasteful goverment spending!
How in God's name are we ever going to reduce our nation's debt when you approve spending like this. You should be ashamed of youself. Better yet you should do the country a favor, quit your role in government and take a long needed vacation.
No new debt at all. Our full attention must be on reducing the size and scope of the federal government. We the People will then be able to go about the business of keeping this the most inventive and creative people on earth.
Congress needs to stop spending so much. You are bankrupting my children.
